Le Recrutement

During my recent trip to Paris, I visited one of my favorite corners in Paris — Rue Saint-Dominique and Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg.  This corner has a beautiful view of the Brasserie Le Recrutement with the Eiffel Tower in the distance.  Le Recrutement has been decorated with a floral motif the past few years, so it makes a wonderful photo.

Despite repeated visits over the years, a really good photo of this corner has eluded me. Le Recrutement is a popular place, and there are often crowds out front checking out the menu.  At times there are cars or delivery vans blocking the view.  This area was about a 25-minute walk from my apartment, so I walked over on a Sunday in the early evening, and was happy to grab a photo:

This is one of many cafes decorating with flowers that I have photographed over the past few years in Paris.  I’ve enjoyed visiting them and getting some nice photos.  I’ll have more to share in future posts!
