Monterosso al Mare
Monterosso is one of the five towns that make up Italy’s Cinque Terre. It’s the northern-most of the five, and the only one that has a real beach.
We stayed in the next town south, Vernazza, but all the towns are a short train ride away from each other. Late one afternoon, we took the train to Monterosso to check it out. We had a great meal along the waterfront, and then wandered through the town.
